About the Patient Participation Group
What is a Patient Participation Group?
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) consists of volunteer patients who work with the manager and clinicians at the practice to support and promote the best possible health care for all patients at the practice.
The PPG acts as a patients’ ‘voice’ in seeking to influence the local provision of health and social care. I does this by working with other health related organisations in Brighton & Hove on health issues beyond the practice.
There are two ways you could get involve as a patient.
- Join the PPG which meets a few times a year face to face
- Become part of a virtual patient participation group that the Practice would use as a point of reference should it have questions it would like a wider group of patients to comment on.
