Out of hours please call 111.
The doctor may be able to offer you advice over the telephone. If the doctor feels that you need to be examined, you will normally be asked to attend the Primary Care Centre. This is generally based at one of the hospital premises.
Patients whose condition is so serious that they are completely unable to travel will receive a home visit, or the doctor may arrange for an ambulance to attend.
If your problem is urgent and you need a GP there are two walk-in GP clinics available in the city. They are:
Walk-in centre next to Brighton train station
Aspect House, 84-87 Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XE
Open every day (including Christmas Day) from 08:00 to 20:00
If you are unsure where to go or need help or advice call NHS 111 for free advice.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
