The non-emergency patient transport
service is available for patients
who are unable, for medical reasons,
to use private or public transport
services for their journey to and
from the hospital. A non-emergency
patient is one who, whilst requiring
treatment, does not require
immediate or urgent medical
attention.
A clinical need for treatment does
not necessarily imply a medical need
for transport.
If you do qualify for non-emergency
transport and wish to make a booking

at least 48 hours before your
appointment date.
